Mark Wesner

Mark Wesner, MA

Intern under Supervision

"My goal is to assist Southwest Florida churches as well as individual Christians or Christian families to live healthy lives.  My desire is for children, adolescents and adults to reach their fullest potential by living lives that are relationally, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually healthy."

"I have served in the pastoral ministry over many years, during which time I have counseled single adults, engaged and married couples, parents, young people, and senior adults needing emotional and spiritual healing in their lives and families. God has wired me as a 'heart to heart' guy who loves to hear people’s stories and be used by Him to help them find guidance to navigate through their life challenges."

Registered Mental Health
      Counselor Intern

"Whether you need to resolve emotional, mental, or spiritual wounds, to search for a new path for your future, or to find meaning for your life, my goal is to empower individuals, couples, children and adolescents, by exploring unused potentials to self-discovery, freedom, and healing."

"My goal as a counselor is to help individuals and families to

reach their potential and satisfaction in life and also learn ways

to cope with daily stressors and unexpected circumstances in life

through professional counseling and therapy skills. I would like the

opportunity to help you work through the issues that are causing

pain. I believe that it is possible to find solutions to your problems

and move on in life."

"Although most of my professional experience has been in the teaching field, music was only a tool to reach students’ inner self and help them discern their own infinite possibilities, inspiring hope, trust, and appreciation for God’s leading in their lives.  It is my effort in counseling to continue this goal, bringing each counselee to the point where he/she recognizes God’s desire for their lives as well.”

Wade Warden

“Are you curious about counseling, but the stigma associated with it keeps you from making an appointment? Does everyone think you’re a rock, yet inside, you feel like you’re crumbling under the pressure of the expectations and demands of others or yourself? You are the reason I chose counseling as my personal ministry and professional career. Together, we will tap into resources you may never thought were available so that you develop the coping skills you need. Break the bonds of distress and get back to living life to the fullest! The journey can be challenging but well worth it.”

Susan Bennett

“When life feels too much and you seem to be going down the wrong path, it’s time to take a look at your compass. It’s time to make a course correction. My goal and passion for my work in counseling and therapy is to help clients make sense of their life story. Noticing what direction you are headed and why you are headed that way is a first crucial step. This is where the journey toward a healthier life begins. I work with adults and teens who want to make this life course correction..”

“As a counselor, my goal is to offer a safe place for my clients to open and share the pain and struggles in their lives. I come alongside them to empower and lead them to the ultimate healer all our wounds, Jesus Christ. As a counselor, I engage with my clients as they tell their stories and integrate psychological techniques with Godly wisdom, scripture, and prayer, if my clients desire and when appropriate. I am committed to helping my clients heal their past and present hurts from relational, physical, mental, emotional, or sexual abuses that have happened in their lives. As 2 Corinthians 1:4 (TPT) says, “He always comes alongside us to comfort us in every suffering so that we can come alongside those who are in any painful trial. We can bring them this same comfort that God has poured out upon us.”

Tye Gibbs
“I strive to serve in helping those I work with by having intentional and purposeful dialogue. I am gifted in being able to discern and see the bigger picture while sharing wise insight through the power of God’s manual. I enjoy taking the time to get to know, listen, and understand my clients from a holistic perspective.  Most importantly, I enjoy the journey of guiding my clients towards self-fulfillment which in return is fulfilling for me.  Allow me to serve you!  It would be my honor and privilege to help you accomplish your counseling or coaching goals and support you in your search for a sense of belonging, improved self-love, self-esteem, and self-fulfillment.”
Rusty Smith

I am a trauma therapist. I focus on the root cause of most issues to achieve quick resolution and relief. I aim to bring about quick results, to overcome limiting beliefs, heavy feelings and help you achieve inner peace and empowerment. I have many years of experience helping people overcome the most painful hurdles from the past and obstacles in the present. I use specialized, evidence-based therapy that promotes deep, lasting change. Passionate about transformative healing, I take pleasure in helping couples enhancing their relationship, promoting emotional closeness, understanding, and growth.

People long to be understood, to sense that their words carry weight, and that their ideas have received a thoughtful hearing. My professional vision is to be a ‘man of understanding’ for each person that I have the privilege to know and to serve as a counselor. My specialty is taking complex emotional, spiritual, and psychological issues and breaking them down into plain language and workable objectives that align with each client’s unique personal objectives.”
