"I have served in the pastoral ministry over many years, during which time I have counseled single adults, engaged and married couples, parents, young people, and senior adults needing emotional and spiritual healing in their lives and families. "My goal as a counselor is to help individuals and families to
reach their potential and satisfaction in life and also learn ways
to cope with daily stressors and unexpected circumstances in life
through professional counseling and therapy skills. I would like the
opportunity to help you work through the issues that are causing
pain. I believe that it is possible to find solutions to your problems
and move on in life."
"Although most of my professional experience has been in the teaching field, music was only a tool to reach students’ inner self and help them discern their own infinite possibilities, inspiring hope, trust, and appreciation for God’s leading in their lives. It is my effort in counseling to continue this goal, bringing each counselee to the point where he/she recognizes God’s desire for their lives as well.”
Adriana Franceschini, MA, LMHC
Melinda Means, BA, CPLC

It is an honor and a privilege to work in a profession that I truly love and feel passionate about. Each of my clients allows me to walk with them in their journey of positive change, healing and self-empowerment."
"Maybe you're restless or feel stagnant, but don't know how to move forward. You have goals and dreams, but you don't know how to achieve them. Challenging life circumstances, lack of focus or direction and/or internal or spiritual barriers are holding you back. My heart and desire is to come alongside you and help you discover how to move past obstacles and walk fully in your unique God-given purpose and potential."

"I have an extensive personal library and have read many religious books over the years. I enjoy integrating principles from the Bible and Christian books into counseling sessions. I have an appreciation for Gary Chapman books on the Five Love Languages and The Other Side of Love: Handling Anger in a Godly Way, Kevin Leman's books on the effects of Birth Order on personality and relationships, and James Dobson's books such as Love Must Be Tough for those facing rejection in relationships. I desire to help persons understand the core reason for their distress and feel that they can navigate life's challenges and have hope for a happier future."

“Are you curious about counseling, but the stigma associated with it keeps you from making an appointment? Does everyone think you’re a rock, yet inside, you feel like you’re crumbling under the pressure of the expectations and demands of others or yourself? You are the reason I chose counseling as my personal ministry and professional career. Together, we will tap into resources you may never thought were available so that you develop the coping skills you need. Break the bonds of distress and get back to living life to the fullest! The journey can be challenging but well worth it.”
Alyssa Short MSW, RCSWI

“When life feels too much and you seem to be going down the wrong path, it’s time to take a look at your compass. It’s time to make a course correction. My goal and passion for my work in counseling and therapy is to help clients make sense of their life story. Noticing what direction you are headed and why you are headed that way is a first crucial step. This is where the journey toward a healthier life begins. I work with adults and teens who want to make this life course correction..”
Joy Grussling, MA Candidate
Under Master's Level Supervision
“As a counselor, my goal is to offer a safe place for my clients to open and share the pain and struggles in their lives. I come alongside them to empower and lead them to the ultimate healer all our wounds, Jesus Christ. As a counselor, I engage with my clients as they tell their stories and integrate psychological techniques with Godly wisdom, scripture, and prayer, if my clients desire and when appropriate. I am committed to helping my clients heal their past and present hurts from relational, physical, mental, emotional, or sexual abuses that have happened in their lives. As 2 Corinthians 1:4 (TPT) says, “He always comes alongside us to comfort us in every suffering so that we can come alongside those who are in any painful trial. We can bring them this same comfort that God has poured out upon us.”
