"Having witnessed physical illness and trauma
for over 25 years, I recognize there is no greater
pain than psychosocial emotional pain, which all
stems from spiritual wounding. Helping clients
examine strongholds, fears, and recognizing hopes
deferred allows them to be liberated from thoughts
and behaviors that impede a joyful life."
Philosophy of Chrisitan Counseling:
All human beings suffer from living in a fallen world. We are all wonderfully wounded and beautifully broken, and perfectly imperfect in the eyes of our Heavenly Father. Helping clients recognize their freedom in Christ is pivotal in starting life anew. Defeating self-talk, self-imposed limitations and destructive patterns and habits rob us of the abundant life Jesus came to give us. Partnering with the Holy Spirit, clients enter into a triad with the counselor to bridge the gap between life as it is, and life as they had hoped it would be. I believe the keys to successful counseling are being open to change through Christ and implementing new strategies for effective living. My goal and role as a Christian counselor is to encourage and support you on this journey.
