Christina Lerch, MA, NCC, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Christina Lerch is a Master’s graduate of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. She is passionate about her work with individuals, marriages, families, adolescents and children. Her goal is to achieve a genuine and trusting therapeutic alliance with each individual she comes in contact with, meeting each person where they are with a warm, non-judgmental attitude. She views her position as that of a tour guide, helping individuals to successfully navigate life’s turns and turmoil, stressors and challenges.
Christina tailors each session to the unique needs of the
individual, building on the already existing, yet hidden, strengths
that exist within each one of us. She has extensive experience
in the medical field and integrates that knowledge into her practice.
"My goal as a Counselor who is a Christian is to assist others to live
emotionally, psychologically, relationally, and spiritually healthy lives.
It is never too late to change, and with God, all things are possible."
Philosophy of Christian Counseling:
I am first a Christian and second, a counselor. I believe that most of our struggles start with our wounded heart. We are all wounded and when we can uncover those wounds, then we can begin to utilize the tools to heal. We are constantly in battle, one we may not see and one we cannot fight ourselves: a spiritual battle. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Eph. 6:12, NASB).
