Adriana received her B.S. in Gerontology and her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University. She is a duly qualified Spanish/English Interpreter and also speaks Portuguese and Italian.

 

Adriana worked as a Clinical Director of a local agency for a few years until she felt the need to reach people in a more direct manner. She brings a broad range of skills and experience to her position at Life Coaching and Counseling Centers. She utilizes clinically tested and evidenced-based interventions, as well as experiential techniques, when appropriate. She is skilled in providing group and individual counseling and considers herself an integrative psychotherapist, which means that she utilizes various therapeutic approaches based on individual client needs. 

 

Adriana’s passion and enthusiasm for this field began after a

close family member needed therapeutic assistance. She is

attentive to the needs of her clients and their families. She

explores the underlying causes of unhealthy behaviors because

she understands that most individuals in need of therapy are

experiencing a wide range of issues including depression,

anxiety, grief and loss, other mental health issues, as well

as unresolved emotions and trauma.

It is an honor and a privilege to work in a profession that I truly love and feel passionate about. Each of my clients allows me to walk with them in their journey of positive change, healing and self-empowerment.
